Making your Line longer

Dr. Kimm tells a story about his Judo instructor asking him how to make a drawn line shorter. His instructor went on to draw a longer line above the shorter line.

I have heard this story many times, but recently it seemed to really hit home. As people we need to focus on improving ourselves and being the best we can be, helping others, and making a better world. Making our lines longer instead of focusing on making other peoples lines shorter.
